 I always have been a "round peg in the square hole of society" and definitely "gone to the dogs" a long time ago. A country girl at heart who had the misfortune to be born in the city and "stuck" there till only a few years ago when, after successfully raising my two children into strong, independent and happy adults, that now have their own families. I seized the opportunity to escape to the country with my dogs. Even as a small child my love for all animals, nature and indeed the universe was  self evident. As a teenager, while the other girls were reading books like "Nancy Drew" and "Hollywood High", I was reading Encyclopaedias and Darwins theory of evolution etc. I always try to look at the big picture so "small pond thinking" and "condescending people" annoy me! To me the ultimate question of "Life, the Universe and every thing is: "WHY"? Philosophers search for the answer to this question. Scientists and historians also search for: "HOW" it is so? There is SO much to learn and our time on this earth is all too short! My mother(Beryl June Dawson) raised me to believe that "LOVE" without "understanding, respect and trust" is nothing more than the hollow shell of infatuation!

I have had my Novice, Open and U.D. obedience instructors licence for over 25 years, and have worked in the past as a professional dog trainer, obedience instructor, professional dog groomer, vet nurse, and also had my own pet supplies business for seven years. My breeds history, physics, genetics, and both dog physiology and psychology are all great passions of mine! I truely love all dogs, especially my cockers, so I am dedicated to never stop learning as much as I can about them till the day I die.
